Ethena announces the establishment of a new qualified asset framework for the approval of collateral assets.

On August 22, Ethena Labs officially announced that it has established a new qualified asset framework to approve collateral assets, specifically for the USDe collateral-backed perpetual futures segment. As part of the new framework, BNB has been approved as the first qualified asset supporting USDe, and has been approved as the first newly supported asset, while XRP and HYPE also meet all the criteria set by the framework and will become candidate assets for the upcoming launch. The Ethena Labs Risk Committee will regularly update the approved collateral asset list, and approval does not necessarily mean that the asset will be launched immediately.
