Swell Founder Discusses the Innovation and Development of Ethereum Liquid Staking Protocol

Swell founder Daniel shared his experiences in the cryptocurrency field and the development process of the Swell project. As an emerging Ethereum liquid staking protocol, Swell attracted about 50,000 ETH in staking in just 5 months and established partnerships with over 40 protocols.

Daniel stated that the rapid growth of Swell is attributed to the strong relationships established with numerous partners in the ecosystem, as well as an innovative marketing strategy called "voyage." This strategy attracted over 13,000 participants and drove the rapid development of the project.

In the fiercely competitive liquid staking space, Swell stands out with its unique positioning and innovation. It is the first platform to implement Chainlink PoR, providing a higher level of transparency. At the same time, Swell is also the first liquid staking protocol to utilize layerzero technology for cross-chain interoperability, making its token swETH widely used around the globe.

Looking to the future, Daniel believes that the next LSDfi market could be liquid staking, likely supported by Eigenlayer. Swell plans to continue driving innovation in the liquid staking space, including the introduction of voting lock/measurement mechanisms, the development of novel liquidity re-staking principles, and providing a top-notch user interface to significantly enhance the staking experience.

Regarding interactions with Layer 2, Daniel stated that Swell focuses on providing as many interactions and integrations as possible within Ethereum, while also expanding cross-chain capabilities. In the current market environment, Daniel believes that a bear market is a great time for building. Swell will focus on significant product upgrades, continue to listen to community feedback, and provide a new generation of liquid staking solutions.
